In "New Territory Combat", portable floor mats are used to simulate the changing and expansion of space. Dancers are divided into 2 groups. They follow certain structure of improvisation and focus on taking the space. By adding and taking away the floor mats, the dancers fight in a game as well as present an amusing performance. The original music was created and performed by Belgian musician Peter Thys.
