Premiered in Colorado Collage, Dilatation performed in Taiwan in 2002 on Ku & Dancers' annual local tour performance to the countryside. Using digital cameras, projector, mixer, and dancer's immediate images, Dilatation tries to catch the space, time, and dance at the same time. Choreographer Ku starts the exploration of dance and technology collaborated with a Hollywood computer animation specialist Yau Chen. Dilatation is their third major tryout of using dance and digital images. They have been fascinated by the possibility of how technology can help to make a dance so much different. They will continue the exploration with a recent project "@Dream" to be performed in 2003 in Taipei and Beijing .
